Excuses Begone

I refuse to present myself as nicer than I actually am in this blog. When you read some of my posts you will see that, as an advanced bodybuilding martial artist, I can be rather bold and blunt with the truth. This is why I treasure most of what Dr Wayne Dyer teaches. I could most definitely benefit from a teacher I respect who can teach me to be more humble.

What follows is a post I recently created:

I’ve been working hard preparing my environment towards New Year’s Day. I am determined to begin 2010 in a clean and neat house; inside and out. While cleaning, and even while I am typing this post, I am listening to the Dr Wayne Dyer Excuses Begone DVD that I got through making a donation to PBS while Dr Dyer’s show was being presented in a PBS pledge program. This program has been playing all day and I am taking all I have learned to the next level. To me, this is very exciting indeed; and that is more than exciting enough!

It’s amazing to consider that thoughts are indeed ‘things’. They have substance. When you create something in your imagination you have actually created something very real! Now, to manifest that which you have created with your imagination into your physical reality takes very REAL passion towards the attainment of your imagined creation. You have to have passion towards your objective EVERY DAY and use everything you possibly can to realizing the manifestation of your created ‘dream’.

Dr Dyer begins the program with a very wise quote:

“Never underestimate your power to change yourself,

MY COMMENT:

The true art of the true spiritual warrior is to continue to simplify, simplify, simplify. The issue is getting less and less complex and more and more direct for me. You have a good attitude and, obviously, a good heart. I like the mood in which you asked your question. Others here ask questions of me with an attitude that makes me want to kick them in the nuts rather than answer them. I have to be dishonest with myself in order to be nice with such people because such people do NOT inspire me to be nice as you have just done.

It’s not a matter of ‘what I want to happen’. I’ve learned that you can’t manifest what you want; you manifest WHAT YOU ARE. I already AM everything I have ever wanted. What I must do is increase the very best of what I already have and am. For me, this is done by augmenting and expanding the power of my concentrated gratitude and appreciation for whatever it is I Intent to manifest more of in my life.

I should NEVER underestimate my power to change myself in increasingly wonderful ways. I should NEVER OVERESTIMATE my power to change others. You want to change others more than you obviously want to change yourself. You keep beating your head against an inexorable wall in this forum of the damned. They refuse to better themselves. I’ve given up on changing others. The best I can do is make suggestions. If they refuse to treasure my good and wonderful suggestions I casually don’t care. I’ve done my part, as far as they are concerned, and that is more than good enough.

So, I am determined to manifest more health. In order to do so I MUST (((demonstrate))) my sincere heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the health I now have through doing my best to eat healthy and exercise regularly with the Intent to improve. Just ‘saying’ I want more health is not good enough. I have to consistently PROVE IT!!!

This is where most people sabotage themselves. They sometimes wistfully think and say what they want, but they are not willing to consistently PROVE IT with passion. Thus they fail in their manifestations.

I MUST be passionate EVERY DAY for my increasing health. I must live it, eat it, breathe it and reach for it with a ruthless determination that refuses to give up. Unless I do this I can never hope to become healthier than I currently am.

This is the basic formula I MUST apply to anything and everything I Intend to manifest more of in my life. If I want to be certain I always have more money than I need, so I have extra to share with the less fortunate, I must use the above formula and replace HEALTH with MONEY and flexibly adapt the same basic procedures using money. I ‘see’ myself richer, in the Spirit, than ever before with lots extra to share with the less fortunate. It doesn’t matter what the news says about the economy. What matters is the quality of my consistent ruthlessly determined Intent towards the manifestation.

I ‘see’ myself becoming stronger than I have ever imagined I could be. I ‘see’ myself accessing incredible amounts of the creative power of the entire universe and using it to bend my personal reality any wonderful way I may see fit. It is MY POWER just as much as it is anyone else’s. The more universal power I access the stronger I become and the easier it becomes to manifest any wonderful thing I clearly envision with increasing clarity and passion!

As far as others are concerned. I don’t see it as right for me to do their work for them. I am not their slave butler. If they want to become masters at manifesting either research into the matter and do their own work towards their own success or…SUFFER!

It is not my dream to save the human race. That’s Jesus’ job and none of my business.
