On Waking Dream Hypnosis Meditation

I’ve researched into creating my own style of self-hypnotic meditation in which I put myself into a waking dream state by essentially…putting myself to sleep with self-hypnosis. I find it much easier to properly meditate if I put myself to waking sleep from the onset. If you study into hypnosis you should find it is possible to create what are known as ‘anchors’ at deep hypnotic levels so that you can bring yourself to those deep levels very quickly using a key word. The word I use is “Focus”.

As I relax and start my hypnotic meditation I say the word “Focus” in my mind and then usually envision a sinker being let loose from a fishing rod over very deep ocean water. I follow the free-falling sinker as is goes deeper and deeper by attaching myself to the sinker and just being taken to deep hypnotic levels by the momentum of the sinker as it goes into a freefall deeper and deeper towards the bottom of the very deep ocean. I envision the sinker going through levels that I envision as three rings.

then as I go deeper I reach a thicker set of rings the sinker casually races through

Each set of increasingly thicker rings represent deeper and deeper levels of a hypnotic trance state. Once I am asleep (or as I call it: under the ice) I can open my eyes and essentially practice Tai Chi in what I call: a controlled waking sleepwalk. I don’t always do it this way. You have to be flexible and continually vary the procedures or they can grow stale. This is one of most reliable methods I have created and should be used as a model to create your own personal method.

I feel it is imperative for each individual to create their own method and come up with their own creative ways to master the hypnotic meditation process. I find it impossible to follow someone else’s method exactly. I must adapt it and make it my own with my own personal ‘twist’ on the process. The overall goal is to give one’s undivided attention to the process and stop the internal dialogue. I now believe it to be IMPOSSIBLE to get past the ego while the internal dialogue continues to reinforce who you THINK you are, what you are capable of and what you are not capable of.

Make no mistake about this: There is NO SUBSTITUTE for a strong, healthy, increasingly grateful and appreciative life! Complainers tend to attract and manifest more things to complain about while the truly grateful tend to attract and manifest more things to be grateful about. They say there are no guarantees in life, but this process is the closest thing I have found so far to the creation of the most guaranteed happy life possible.

So the overall goal is to willingly hypnotize oneself into lusting after the creation of an increasingly strong, healthy grateful and appreciative life. As one becomes stronger, healthier and increasingly grateful and appreciative happiness and opportunities to become even happier automatically attract and manifest themselves to those who are always on the lookout for them.
